Halloween’s technically on Monday, but we’re all going to do our thing at tricks and treats tonight! I’ve missed Halloween proper the past few years, and it’s not going to happen this year, as I’ve fully prepared for my outfit – full costume, including my self invented “crown” wand…here comes the Queen of Hearts!

I got this from Far East Plaza – but please do not purchase from there because the price are exorbitant! I paid $80 for this costume, a corset top and full skirt with a complementary crown, excluding the boots. It’s only this afternoon that my girlfriend Agnes referred me to this site Truly Yours that I’ve got a shock! They also have this design – at only $49.90! Bao Chern also introduced Simply Intimate to me – awww such pretty pieces yet so much more affordable than those in physical stores!
So what are you going as tonight??
Maybe I should share some interesting insights on how to go as your favourite celebrity, if you’re not into ghosts and ghouls!
Katy Perry
Perry’s award show dresses are always avant-garde—and made by top designers, including Tom Ford, Versace, Christian Dior, and Betsey Johnson. If a custom Smurfette dress is out of your price range, try this Topshop sequin bodycon dress instead.
Curious how long Perry keeps her pink hair?? —but thankfully with this wig you’ll only need to commit for a night. Curl it into some victory rolls to imitate her of-the-moment style, seen here in a recent InStyle shoot.
If Perry doesn’t already own a pair of these shoes, the publicist at Haus of Price needs to fix that, stat! Covered in gemstones and metal studs, these heels look like a candy store exploded. In a good way, of course.

Perry’s show-stopping manicures are one of the top reasons why I adore her. Add the finishing touch to your costume by doing a little DIY nail art at home. Of course it makes sense to use polish from the OPI Katy Perry collection, then incorporate some embellishment with decals from a Cina nail art kit.

Mick and Bianca Jagger
It was the ‘70s, so obviously a tan corduroy suit was the thing to wear. We like this updated version from Band of Outsiders, but if you crave a wider collar, Value Village should give you some satisfaction.

If anyone deserves to wear a country-western shirt on his wedding day, it’s Mick Jagger. So buck up and button up this paisley-printed Stetson shirt.

Yep, Mick wore runners on his wedding day. Say “I do” to this pair of blue suede-ish shoes from Zara for a casual look that you can trick-or-treat all night long in.
Two tone shoe ($60, zara.com)
A white blazer with nothing else underneath—would you have guessed Bianca was four months pregnant when they were married? Her suit was a custom YSL design, but for your costume we suggest the much more affordable Forever 21.
Forever 21 Longline blazer ($36, forever21.com)
You know you’re a style icon when you can take something traditionally mother-of-the-bride (a white mid-length skirt) and make it into an outfit more covetable than a regular wedding dress. This Donna Karan skirt is the perfect stand in.

Okay, maybe it’s actually the hat that makes Bianca’s outfit so iconic. DIY your own bridal headwear with a white chapeau from American Apparel, some tulle fabric, and craft flowers. (And no need to sew, this project is all about the glue gun!)
American Apparel wool floppy hat ($55, americanapparel.ca)
Just when you finished your hat, we’re sending you back to Michael’s for more flowers! A wedding costume isn’t complete without a garland of pretty white petals and a faux bouquet.
Ashland Classic Traditions Collection white floral chain garland and cream mini rose bundle stem ($5-30, michaels.com)
This white strappy pair have a sweet “I just married a rockstar” ‘70s vibe. Bianca would approve!
J. Crew Georgine platform heels ($272, jcrew.com)

And I’ve ordered! Yay! Can’t wait to get my perfect figure

Hermes – If you love colours like me, there’re a couple select choices here!

The short, stylish bob with a thick mop of bangs
Lady Gaga goes for a medium cut with layers and her classic sharp and straight fringe.
Curls are always sexy, just think Taylor Swift.
Miss Fox herself.
And elegant beauty Rachel Weisz
I personally love this photo a lot because of the pink hues and of course, the beautiful hair!
Speaking of Valentine’s Day, it doesn’t hurt to look a little ruffled and you know, “out of the bed”.
And don’t we all love Miranda Kerr, especially after the David Kiely incident???
