This list is totally subjective to each’s tastes and preferences (or rather – mine), so don’t shoot me already! Anyway, it’s my last round of 2009′s things/people/events worthy for remembrance…so, please, sit back and enjoy the eyecandies.

1. Adam Lambert

“The biggest risk I’ve ever taken is going on American Idol and trying to be myself,” says the 27-year-old reality show star. “I wasn’t going to try too hard to conform, and I knew that it could possibly not work out.” I totally dig his attitude and voice, never mind that he kisses guys and is into those wild and controversial costume parties.

2. Chace Crawford

The Gossip Girl star tops PEOPLE’s 10th annual list. Note to anyone interested in the 23-year-old actor, who will next star in the remake of Footloose: learn to be low-maintenance. Says Crawford of his perfect date: “All you need is a pool table, beer, an electric jukebox and good conversation. The day a girl beats me in a game of Beirut [a kind of beer pong] is a good sign!”

I’ve always loved and admired Chace, so this is not a surprise at all. Clean cut, great eyes/teeth and perfect smile.

3. Robert Pattinson

“It’s a really emotional experience when people are screaming at you all the time,” the Twilight star, 23, told EW.com about the fan frenzy that follows him. “When I was in Italy, all these people started screaming in this bookshop. Your immediate reaction is you feel like you’re going to start crying. It’s so not how I thought I would react. When people are pressing loads and loads of energy, you can kind of feel it. It’s overwhelming.”

I just think he looks really good all “glittering” in Twilight, but of course, the cool, laid-back and charismatic demeanor he exudes is a definite bonus.

4. Taylor Lautner

He’s only 17 but shows that he’s really a pretty mature teenager who knows how to handle stress and challenges, just as how he managed to portray a convincing werewolf and Bella’s potential love interest as Jacob Black. I like how sincere and genuine he seems to be. It’s too bad he and Swift are no longer an item.

5. Barack Obama

The United States President is HOT – many people think so. The reasons are very simple: The Harvard Law graduate is refined, sophisticated, intelligent and poised, not to mention being extremely charismatic, influential and has a will to effect change. So far he’s doing pretty well. He has my respects!

Never before has a First Lady’s figure been such a hot topic! Obama’s penchant for sleeveless dresses showed off her toned triceps – hard-earned arms, since she begins working out at 4:30 a.m. “I enjoy arm exercises because you can see what it’s hitting,” she told Prevention. She’s not in the list because her husband is, but like him, she’s attracting all the right kinds of attention. Cheers to the First Lady.

2. Madonna

In her 50s and the pop icon continues to get people talking – and the most recent subject are her bulging biceps, which show the results of her regular Ashtanga yoga exercises. And her songs and dance moves are almost always hot, aren’t they?

3. Kim Kardashian

Famous for being famous, Kim is hot stuff and she knows it, her pictures often splashed across glamour and fashion magazines and trend spotted for wearing the latest HOT NOW stuff. She may seem too “sexy” for some women, not to mention the sex tape scandal, but her figure is undeniably hot. Interested to purchase her workout video, anyone?

4. Taylor Swift

She is country music’s reigning princess, and she is always dressed appropriately in shimmering frocks. “Anything that glitters hypnotizes me,” says Swift of her red carpet picks by Collette Dinnigan and KaufmanFranco. Indeed, she hypnotizes me too. I love her dresses and she is always dressed prettily and daintily, with just the right dose of “chic”.

5. Megan Fox

How can she be out? I’m smitten by her looks, but this female is eccentric to me too. She claimed to have cut herself, said she has a “supernatural power over men”, and spouts plenty of quotable quotes the media loves to publish. Just what’s so HOT about Fox? I’m not absolutely certain myself, but the alluring beauty has her “physical prowess” to thank for her fame, and for getting away with things.
