X-Factor Bodycon Dress in Pink from Almost Famous

I’ve been so busy, sleeping little and on my laptop almost the entire day preparing for Jipaban’s official launch, a little of school and my upcoming paper on the 24th, handling iLead’s trip to Silicon Valley (flight details, itinerary planning etc)  and the most exciting part…TO BE REVEALED :)

Some pictures from last Friday – Dinner with Eric at Secret Recipe, VivoCity!

Had my hair curled for free when a Jose Eber sales guy approached me to be his model for 5 mins! Very persuasive, I must say! Anyway, I love the curler so much but I can never achieve this effect on my own!

Saturday With A Beloved Girlfriend!

Finally had some time to let loose on a Saturday without having to worry about term reports to submit! Spent the entire afternoon and evening with my goodie friend Shu-En (though I still like to call you Shu!), shopping, eating and catching up with each other!

Having our tea break at Blue Mountain at 313 @ Somerset! The brownie with ice cream is so yummy!

If you notice, actor Chen Jian Bing, or Marcus Chin, was behind me in the middle picture – he was there for ages waiting for his companions to arrive!

Mediacorp actor Marcus Chin

Love the girl so much! :) She makes me laugh and smile all the time!

And here’s my loot for the day!

Collected my package from the post office yesterday!

Ordered 3 items from Almost Famous!

It’s currently one of my favourite blog shops because the apparels are so beautiful and the quality’s awesome! Not to mention, the owner Jean is so nice and she’s always so prompt and polite in her email replies. Thank you, Jean!

Love this skirt and its vibrant colours! The material’s so soft yet structured, giving your silhouette a perfect boost!

The pieces I couldn’t resist from Almost Famous!

And this wonderful vest with a super flattering cut I got from Nichii – doesn’t quite show how nice it is here but I’ll take pictures when I wear it next time!

More essentials from Watsons because only for this weekend, you get double the points (not 1 but 2) for every $5 you spend! And I decided to try the Bio Essence face lifting cream endorsed by pretty Vivian Hsu.

Tried it for the first time last night and this morning my skin feels softer and more supple already! Hope it’s not psychological!

Will blog about the results after I use it more!

Was at VivoCity on Friday and witnessed a little of my paper ExecutiveLook 2010!

There were 3 contestants who caught my eye – Brandon Liu (the winner), Jaclyn Chan (2nd) and Craig Toh.

They were, in my opinion, the most good looking ones and I was particularly impressed by Brandon Liu.

Also a finalist of HP Space held a year ago, I think he deserves the title of this year’s contest because his presentation skills, personality and charisma really came out tops and of course, his boyish and suavely good looks helped a lot! Somehow, too, his Australian accent is really attractive to me. He’s my kind of guy, I guess!

More about Brandon here!

I saw Craig on stage and was instantly bought over by his attractive looks!

I was like, “Wow, this guy’s so gonna win this” but that was before I saw Brandon (actually I never got to see Brandon ‘cos I left for dinner after that). But ok! I’m joking. Craig’s really cute too!

Not exactly a fresh face in the limelight, Craig has been featured in TV and video ads for the Health Promotion Board, the Human Organ Transplant Act and McDonald’s!

He was a flight steward with SQ too! Oooohhhh.

Nice picture of him taken here from his blog.

Jaclyn Chan on the extreme right :)

An attractive lady who’s a sales exec at Nike.

I think she looks really pretty here :) Second from left.

Ok, this part of the post is just a “kaypo” one since the event is already over, but it definitely motivates me towards a certain direction – S.U.C.C.E.S.S! Maybe more than just an executive. Something MORE.

Yes, I can!

Novelty is Always Cool.

Budding style icon, New York socialite and star of The City Olivia Palermo shares her fashion and style choices with VOGUE.COM every day for the month of April.

Sometimes I even wonder at myself why I can never stop buying clothes, shoes and stuff (meaning accessories and all kinds of other fashion faves.

The thing is, novelty is always fresh, exciting and addictive. Especially when it comes to fashion.

There are just so many styles to experiment with, so many different looks to play around, and new things are always coming up to entice needs and wants. Call it the power of marketing, consumerism, the influence and impact of Capitalism, whatever. But we (especially girls) simply enjoy this process of CONSUMING these desirables.

And I’m sure some guys HAVE to agree with that as well.

People who stay at the Thompson Toronto shouldn’t throw stones—the hotel, opening in May, is almost entirely glass, a glistening prism in the palm of King West. Guests with haute expectations won’t be let down: Suites are sleek and roomy, lounges abound, and the signature resto is none other than Scarpetta (imported from N.Y.). But we’re into the sweeter, homier things: a 24-hour diner, a 40-seat movie theatre and Javier Mariscal’s hand-painted mural of our own dear skyline. – Fashionmagazine.com

Love, Modelling.

Finally, my photos from the Ion Shoot are out!

I love modelling so much, but there’re so many reasons why I can’t be on the runway to parade for my favourite fashion brands.

I feel so honoured when my Jie, Shin Juay (or Shn) told me that I have the looks to be a model. She’s the Winner of Miss Earth Singapore 2006.

My gorgeous Jie in red :)

But of course, I lack the height, the very slim body and a sharp nose, probably.

Modelling can be tiring because it can stretch on for hours but I truly truly love it. It’s a natural passion for me because I love Fashion, clothes and all things pretty. So posing for a camera to capture a graceful pose or a beautiful moment is something I will love to do. To achieve wonderful results, sacrifices of comfort and time are worthwhile indeed.

Anyway, I’ll be using a few of these photos for my new blog, so stay tuned! Been waiting and waiting for it to be done and I hope it’ll be all ready soon!

Camwhoring in the car because the makeup’s so nice!

With my dear Eric :)

Curly hair is so chio right??? Argh! I’m still waiting for my hair to grow looooonger!!!

Another Japanese meal for us – favs, always!

And now, the shoot photos!
